Whaddup guys! I figured out I should blog with my phone more often. Anyway, I'm back and still alive! (: It's the holidays? If you consider going back to school for intensive trainings and having a theory exam after that, nope it's not the holidays at all. It's time to test my mental strength and resilience. 9 intensive trainings (morning and afternoon) and a camp for the price of being in school team, look I didn't die! (:
Through these trainings, I bonded with the sprinters so much. We trained together, got dirty together, got scolded together, I love them so much! ❤ Honestly, the trainings weren't as intensive as I thought it would be, usually we only ran once for the 2 trainings of the day. Ms Lim is always as scary as ever, and indeed she lived up her words of not tolerating bad attitudes despite good results. Oh wells, we can't do anything about it anyway. We always got released about an hour before training officially ends, so my fellow sprinters and I went for dinner at Saybons! Their crepes were really good, though a little overpriced! :P
There's no time for sleep after intensive training camp, it's the major exam the next day (yesterday). I can't afford to fail my Grade 8 and waste the money and be a loser. Before the exam, I met up with Anthony for lunch and I'm glad I did 'cause he really clarified my doubts right before we sat for the paper! The exam venue was really secluded, and the most of the candidates in the room were from my piano class. It's quite funny how everyone was laughing and joking with each other before the major paper! It was 3 whole mind-torturing hours, and half of the time I was stoning 'cause I was stuck. There's 11 marks worth of foreign terms, but NO ornaments came out. God bless me please let me pass. ): But I'm glad everything's over, as we walked out of the room like old buddies who just reunited. (: Piano lessons would be boring if not for them!
Despite the breaks we got in between trainings, I took up half of the time napping so I barely started my homework. Yes I'm not joking. But there's one more day before school resumes, so why not just enjoy that one day of freedom? On Sunday, I watched Warm Bodies with my fellow 'band members'. (: When we entered the cinemas, it was showing a trailer of a ghost movie. Me and Teresa were literally hiding and screaming and stuff, it lasted for so long I felt like crying. ): Scary shows for me are a no-no. Warm Bodies was a replica of Romeo and Juliet! (I just realised)
R and Julie = Romeo and Juliet, Marcus = Mercutio, and Perry = Paris. It all makes sense now! Nicholas Hoult has beautiful eyes by the way. ♥ After that, Teresa went on a search for a new terrapin. Her obsession with terrapins is seriously getting out of hand! She wanted to buy this cute terrapin at Pet Lovers Center but she wasn't old enough to buy a pet, so she called her aunt to come down. Me and Audrey waited for 20min for her terrapin! (Audrey hates pets hahaha) But terrapins are cute and puny. :3
So that basically sums up my 'holidays', hope you guys spent your week well before school starts! Don't worry about undone homework too much, if it makes you feel better I only did math. (: Gotta wake up early to do my work, so nights guys! (everyone should probably be sleeping already lol)
