Hey readers! I'm sorry but I'd have to delay my 'flea' post. This is much more important than anything else right now. As you all know, Pastor Kong and 4 other board members of City Harvest Church had been arrested for the misuse of church funds. Why is this happening to the man of God? Since P3, I've been attending church regularly. This is my home, where I belong. God is who I believe in. I admit, I didn't really take Christianity seriously when I was young, and I'm only considered saved after I attended main services. Nevertheless, I know what Pastor Kong is like. We all know.
Because of their endless love for God and perseverance, they built a great home for God. The presence of God is always so strong during services. The Crossover Project started by Sun 10 years ago got so many people saved. Sun used her talents to reach out to the lost, we can't deny that. They are truly perfect representatives of God.
Now, I should just say that this society is corrupted. Just because they're arrested, many people have been questioning Christianity. Even Christians. If only my dad keeps his comments to himself. Hey, God ALLOWS prosperity!
Guys, let's not lose hope and keep the faith going. Faith is believing the impossibility. No matter what others say, we know that God is a good God, and I believe that we can go through this together. There would always be a rainbow after the storm. Christians, let's unite as one and keep Pastor Kong and the other 4 board members in prayer. A miracle will come! God will never let us down! We must embrace a positive attitude towards hardships. Brother John Bevere once said that God will not allow us to go through something beyond our powers, but He will give us a privilege to defeat Satan. Even the faith as small as a mustard seed could move mountains, what can we not overcome? (:

I've got a great piece of news to share with you guys! Guess what? I'm shortlisted for one of the Emerge Official Bloggers for 2012! Which means that my blog is now an official blog for Emerge! WHEEEEEEEEE! When I saw the post on the Emerge Group yesterday, I was so so shocked! I never expected that to happen, and I thought they selected their bloggers already! I literally screamed and went crazy. Thank God my parents aren't at home. :D I really can't believe that I actually got through! THAT'S THE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME, being shortlisted in a competition! Praise the lord, that Jiamei is also shortlisted! :D Do check out her blog too --> HTTP://FELICIA-JIAMEI.BLOGSPOT.SG.
I received the email! omg you won't believe how happy I am! YAY! :D We're entitled to backstage passes, exclusive entries to various competitions and there would be reserved seats for us, AT THE FRONT, for the Emerge Weekend! (: So, I would be watching some of the competitions going on in July, and be sure to read my blog entry about it! Oh, and we would have the Emerge Crew badges printed for us too! Even when I'm blogging about it now, I can feel the excitement in me. hehehe! Thank you God for making this come true!

Met Jiamei, Jiaqi and Anvis for Afro Circus next! Yup, it's Madagascar 3! (: We never expected so many people, especially kids, to watch it on that day. I thought many of them would have watched it already since it was released a week ago. We didn't get the 2.40pm slot 'cause there's only the front 2 rows left, but we still got the second row seats for the 3.40pm slot. ): Apparently, Anvis overslept and was late for the movie. :P It was really funny, go and catch it if you haven't! (:

Speaking of Madagascar 3, challenge yourself to this:

I survived the whole thing, can you? (:

Also watched Snow White and The Huntsman with Liying and Benecia on Thursday! After so long, I finally got to see them. :') It was quite a good movie, except that the ending is a bit abrupt. Kristen Stewart DID show some expression in the movie, lol. :P Before the movie started, Liying was telling us that she heard bad reviews about it, and she was asking us if we wanna just sneak out of the theatre and watch Sadako in another theatre. LOL NO WAY! By the way, Sadako is a horrow movie. I can't watch horrow stuff. Even the horrow movie trailer shown before the movie scared me okay! :B It's gross how the evil queen eats ravens and eats young people's hearts just to stay young. X: Go and watch it too! (:

Lastly, ending off with a picture of my nails! (: hahaha. I spent half my Tuesday doing it lol, 'cause I'm a noob who had never tried to design my nails before. Sadly, school is starting and I would have to erase them.

I realised I haven't blogged about my shopping trip last Saturday. Gotta blog about it tomorrow. And do look out for my Emerge posts from next week onwards!
Enjoy the remaining 2 days guys! (:

It's time to say bye to the seniors again. Y'all are constantly motivating us and keeping us going. When times are tough, you always encourage us and tell us not to give up easily. I can say that I don't really talk to y'all, but it's gonna be different for our future trainings. Being in a new environment, and having only the Sec 3s as our seniors. Time really flies! Anyway, just wishing y'all luck for your O's and never give up, just like you've always been telling us to do! (:

DELICIOUS MAX.

Pretty people. (:

First off, if only the party was in an air-con room. It was sooooo hot at the forum! heh. :P Anyway, for the performance, the Sec 1s were not bad, to start off with! They had a game show and a dance, but all of them were too shy lol. For us, well, better than last year I guess? But we kinda failed to cooperate with each other again. ): We need to do a dance next year! (: The dance by the Sec 3s was so cool! And lunch by Celine and friends. HEAVENLY! Loved the chocolate cake and the pasta, and the jelly thing too! I ate a little bit too much that day. :/

GWEN HAHAHAHAHA!
Had fun serving drinks with her! (:

The leaders from now on!

MUDTHER! (: hahaha, my PSL last year!
Got no idea why Thea calls her Dead Goldfish though LOL.

Forever happy ShiQing! (: HER DRESS IS GORGEOUS. :3

15th June 2012
I didn't go for dragonboat as I had a Farewell Party for my track seniors. So, I went straight to Jurong West with Chloe! (: Heard that Romans won for the dragonboat! OH YEAH! :D
The finale night was awesome and really power packed! Pastor Kong preached that night. :D

All the 4 houses put up a drama, depicting the 3 days of activities we had. It was really funny. (: It was my first time falling in the presence of God! The presence of God was so strong, and it was really great. Camp UNItE is best camp I've ever been to. New friendships are forged, the unity is there, and AZ District became closer as a family! I never knew I was in AZ District until the camp. X: I'm really glad to be a Centurion! Through encouragements and support, we understand each other more. Together, we never gave up and strive to achieve greater things. Even though there were no guys and we aren't as strong physically, I think we were not bad! (: Siang Joo and Zann were awesome leaders. ^~^ We faced challenges along the way but with unity, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE! :D Through this camp, I grew closer to God and also to His people. Yes, we fought and had arguments over some games. But hey, at the end of the day, we still stand in unity! All of us have only one purpose, that is to shine for God, and impact the society. It's really amazing. Everyone was UNItED as one - one heart, one mind. Praise the Lord! I believe that a breakthrough will come very soon. :D I really enjoyed myself these 3 days, and I pray that Camp UNItE 2013 will come!

wow, fantastic Romans!

14th June 2012
We had to wake up at 6! Today, we're playing The Hunger Games! :D It's kind of a survival game and allows us to be hungry for God in the body, soul and spirit. We had Morning Devotion before we set off for the game. Our breakfast, aka rations, was Nasi Lemak! It doesn't seem like a ration though, it's quite filling. :P

Before we walk to the park, aka the battleground, we have to collect several items along the way. We didn't really understand the clues so we got Legions to go with us! It didn't turn out as bad, in fact, we got almost everything correct! (:
Phase 1 of Hunger Games is to complete as many stations as possible to gain Health Points for Phase 2. Our first station is to drink the bottle of water far away from us, using 10 straws.

That's the GL of Centurion, Siang Joo! (:

We managed to do quite a number of stations, including the one where we had to 'camouflage' ourselves by putting green paint on our cheeks! It's like putting on facial masks. (:

Centurions! :D

N421 & N507 girls!
After that, everyone except for the teams that did the station had to apply the paint ON THEIR WHOLE FACES! :P

Our camp commanders. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

For Phase 2, there would be 7 stations for the teams to compete in. If the team wins for the station, their health points would remain but the losing teams would lose 50 health points each. From the second station onwards, Centurions had the same opponents throughout. We're always with the Samurais and the Atlanteans, and the Samurais always win. ): They have tall and strong guys! The first game was to hold a spoon in our mouths and dig out the mentos hidden in the flour. I like that game the most. (: While we're in our different stations, the house captains were doing a mobile radio! ^~^

Chloe was there too! :D

Timothy, our dear house captain! (:

I didn't manage to take any photos when we were playing, sorry! After The Hunger Games, we had a Red Paper Clip Challenge! Inspired by a blogger who made 14 transactions and ended up with a 2-storey house, we're suppose to exchange stuff with the public, starting from a red paper clip. Do not despise small beginnings! (: I never thought we could exchange for something, 'cause it's only a small pathetic paper clip. Like, who would want it?!
But I was wrong! We must believe in God and ourselves, and expect the unexpected! ♥
#1: A blue pen.
#2: A lighter.
#3: A blusher. We approached a smoker. ;)
#4: A MYUK pencil case! Things start to get brighter! The girl was really generous. She just emptied all her pens into her bag and pass us her pencil case! (:
#5: 8 BRAND NEW hairbands! O: We didn't know the lady was a tourist! At first, she didn't understand us and when she finally got it, she offered us money! We quickly rejected as we were not suppose to do that. Then she just offered her 8 hairbands without even considering! We were so shocked, we rejected her and ask her for only 1, not all. But she was like "I sincerely want to give it to y'all!" The hairbands are not cheap too! I was so touched, thank God for such wonderful people in our society! :D
#6: 1 hairband --> An air freshener --> A big, brand new umbrella!
#6: 1 hairband --> A pouch!
#6: 2 hairbands --> A McDonald Hello Kitty!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

So we were left with an umbrella, a pouch, a Hello Kitty and 5 hairbands! I think I missed out something though, but I'm HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY! CENTURIONS ARE SO AMAZING! ♥

We ended off with an encounter service with our district pastor, Pastor Aries! That night, we decided to show the true power and strength of Romans. so ...

Here's Sketch, as a Roman soldier! It was the costume used for this year's Easter drama.

to be continued.

Hey guys! I'm still going to post the pictures I took in Macau but this comes first alright! (:

13th June 2012
I'm in ROMANS! :D Wow, Fantastic Romans. We had hokkien cheers but our main one is 'Fantastic Romans', inspired by 'Fantastic Baby'! And for my team, I'm in Centurion, the only all-girls group! Who say we can't do it without guys? ;) For Day 1, we gathered at Vivo City Amphitheater to start our first game, Running Man!

The almighty Romans flag! :D

cool right.

Centurion; GIRL POWER!

Camp UNItE, fighting! :D

We ran around Sentosa because most of the stations are located there. There was a station called 'No. 6 Water Sprinkler' and we had no idea where it was. We wasted quite a bit of time venturing outside Universal Studios 'cause there were so many water sprinklers there! It's okay, as we got free popcorn from Garretts! (:  We, being hopeful, finally decided to go to Siloso Beach. And guess what? The station is there! It's just some random water sprinklers there.

This was the mission we had to do. It was quite easy, since we only needed to stick 4 stickies at the lower body, which is our legs. Even though we only completed 7 out of 10 stations, we stayed as one and encouraged each other at the games! One of the games require us to hold the water in our mouths and spit it out using a straw, into a bowl. There would be a person who carries another bowl filled with water UP for the others to 'drink' them. I don't think you get the picture but yeah. I volunteered to be the one carrying the bowl of water up 'cause it's a HOT HOT day, and I know I would get wet. Smart right! ;) By the way, I must hold the bowl of water above my head and walk up the stairs for my members, and indeed, the water kept spilling on me! We had Nicole, the Merlion, who aims the water really well! (: And because of everyone too, WE BROKE THE RECORD OF BEING THE FASTEST TEAM! We took only 3++ min! Who run the world? GIRLS!
The last station is The Final Showdown. Like the actual Running Man, we played a mass tag game between all the 4 houses, Romans (red), Alanteans (blue), Samurais (green) and Vikings (yellow)! I felt that Romans had a strong defense strategy but when the game started, everyone got scared somehow. And then, we began to turn back to everyone and that's when the plan 'failed'. The guys in Atlanteans are really fierce! O: Soon, Atlanteans and Sanurais start to surround us. For the final Final Showdown, I never expected Romans to only have less than 10 people left, with their tags! I guess most of our tags were being confiscated by the Camp Committee for not attacking. ): I was one of the survivors. LOL! We only had ONE survivor left when the game ends! But great effort, Romans!
I ♥ everything about camps, except the bathing part. ): The queue was so long and we all had to rush! Then, we had dinner before going back to Jurong West church. We had praise and worship, and devotion at Level 4. I love the food in the vending machines! Unfortunately, the coffee machine was faulty so I can't get my latte. >.< I slept at 12 45 instead of 12. :P There's this period when everyone is sleeping, and suddenly, everyone starts coughing! hahaha. That's all for Day 1, Day 2 is going to be more exciting! :D

I'm back with updates of Macau and Hong Kong! :D I'm just gonna let the pictures speak for themselves. So, let me start off with Day 1!
I've never been to Macau before and from young, I always thought that Macau is really the Asia version of Venice, like an island. BUT I WAS WRONG. The Venice part was only a small part of Macau, in a hotel. -.- Anyway, Macau is extremely rich, with casino hotels everywhere! My family and I arrived in Macau at 2 30 and checked in. Apparently, the toilet bowl flush got stuck so the water flooded the toilet. ): We changed rooms, like duhh! hahaha.

First stop - 官也街!
It's like the olden Macau with shophouses and many many 饼家! Their almond cookie is a MUST to try! (:

MY DINNER: Braised Beef Noodles at 中华面店!

At night, we visited quite a few casino hotels. It's like a dreamland once you step inside the hotel! We went to Galaxy Hotel first. It had a very 'royal' feel. (:

We were just on time to watch a fountain performance at the Cascades! The crystal lights were raised up and a big big diamond appeared! HOW COOL IS THAT!

Look at how empty Mac is. O:

There were crystal sculptures at the other side of the hotel. They're so pretty! ♥

The 'Lady Gagas'. ;)

Next stop, Venetian Macao! Boys Over Flowers filmed their drama here before. (:

Look at the beautiful fake sky! :D

Hello Kitty! :3

We board a shuttle bus to Sand Costa Centre but it is so secluded, nobody's inside. ):

I find this cute! :3

It gets boring after a while 'cause there are so many branded shops around. 没钱买! >.< Besides, I'm underage to go inside the Casino. Oh wells, what to do? That's all for Day 1 guys, 4 more days to go! (:
