Hello! Just a quick update for today. (: Exams... just don't talk about it already. I've been really affected by my shitty results these days. The numbers really suck, I'm not joking. For Chinese, I really have no idea how to write 报章报道. Anyway I don't have any fanciful phrases with me so I have no choice but to write that. And I barely passed. ): The teacher was kind enough to give me an extra mark to let me pass though. Sigh, I never expected to fail in these stuff before. And then for History, well I kind of expected it since I did the wrong source BUT I NEVER EXPECTED TO FAIL. I was so confident of my other answers, and it turned out to be the other way round. -.- I really don't know what to expect when my parents see my report book. My freedom is at stake.

Whatever, let's put those crap aside. After all those stupid friendship problems for the past 2 years, I'm really thankful to have friends. Many people say that friends come and go. Well, it's kinda true but we've got to have a few true friends by our side, am I not right? This is to AUDREYMABEL, Benecia, Amanda, Nicole  and Wendy! Thank you so much for being by my side and comforting me these few days. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!

Anyway, it's Benecia's birthday on Tuesday (21 August)! There are so many August babies that I know! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAR NUN! You're so cute and blur! Stay happy and be a blessed kid! We need to have study dates soon yeah! (:

Everything was almost homemade for her celebration. Hia baked colourful cookies, Mabel made chocolate cupcakes and Nicole baked an extremely tall rainbow cake! (: My baking skills are not exactly up to standard so I didn't bake for her. >.< The cake was so hard, it took us forever to cut it out! And everything is super sweet, I like. ;)

All days of the long holiday spent with my cell group and church friends, that's what I like about life. On Saturday (180812), it was the usual service. Only this time, Cindy Ratcliff came to lead us in Praise and Worship! She's a famous Praise and Worship leader back in the States, and here she is with us! "I'm still standing, but by the grace of God." This song was stuck in my head for a while! It so happened that her album was called 23, which is the age of our church! We serve an awesome God yeah! Nicole brought her Japanese friend, Saki, along with us. Time to learn some Japanese! (:

Yesterday, on Sunday (190812), we had a combined outing with N515! They are this group of really young people. (like me!) We met at the Botanical Gardens at 9.30 and took a long walk to Palm Valley to have our picnic. Though they were around my age, I feel older than them! I guess maturity comes with the people you hang out with. I'm the youngest in my cell group, that explains why. (: There's this small boy who was only 12 in their cell group! We played a little ice-breaker games and did some sharing with one another. After that, it's food time! I brought bananas, fresh from NTUC that morning. (Y) We played volleyball, frisbee and soccer combined! Honestly, I don't feel like doing anything at all, just lie on the grass and look at the beautiful sky and enjoy the clouds. But nope there weren't any clouds 'cause it was so sunny. Jiamei played some songs on the guitar while we sang along. Life's good when you get to spend the day with the ones you love. ♥ Merilyn and Melissa were nice people, so glad to know them! (:

After that, we went to Serangoon Central to support JiaQi. She was one of the people selected for the Channel 8 Variety show. I forgot the name of it. :P She was in Guoliang's team, and they won! Their artwork was really pretty! Zhou Chu Ming was there also, and all the older generation people went crazy over him hahaha! At the meantime, we got our frappés! ♥

Today (200812), it's the JOL Big Walk! The meeting time is 8.15am, at Gardens By The Bay. Why so early! ): I woke up at 5am but went back to sleep, and woke up at 7.15am. :P I'm very sure I'm gonna be late, hahaha. Thank God I met N515 at Serangoon MRT and we travelled there together. (: Gardens By The Bay was so pretty! It's like one of the nicest places in Singapore. It was quite a short walk, I must say. I had honey stars for breakfast. (: Then, our dear leader fetched us to Kovan to have some Thai food. The tomyam soup was so spicy and shiok!!! Mmmhmmmmmmm, loved today. (:

SN Hockey

I'm really amazed by them, SN Hockey. On Thursday (160812), it was the finals for C Division Hockey! We were against STC. The match was the most exciting one I've ever watched. Even though the ball was small and hard to see (just spot the little white thing moving around), everyone was so intense and nervous for them! As IJ schools, we conquered the whole stadium with our loud cheers! Honestly, I didn't really like the place where I sat. I kept hearing criticisms from the other side about our school, calling us fake and all. :/ But nevermind, St Nicks girls have big hearts. Like the previous match they played, both teams did not score a goal even with extra time. They proceed on to the penalty shots. It was such a sweet sight seeing all the hockey girls forming a circle and praying for them! ♥ The score was 2-0, leading to STC being the champion team. But I feel that the true winner is not based on just goals alone, but also the heart and passion for the game. I'm not trying to defend my school, or maybe I am, but SN Hockey really showed us what they really are. Passionate, full of power and enthusiasm. They have won our hearts. Even though they lost, we know they did their best and that's enough.
The bond and friendship of SN Hockey, everyone knows how strong they are. It's like the most bonded CCA ever. I really envy them! When they walked and bowed towards us, they are like 'war heroes' (quoted from Ethel). That feeling was just ... it takes more than words to describe that. Seeing them cry, I almost cried too.
After the match, there were some issues on Twitter that got everyone so worked up. It's all resolved now. My timeline was flooded with praises for SN Hockey. We have the sportsmanship and sisterly love in us, that is what makes us stand out from the rest. This is the SN Spirit.

I ♥ being a part of the St Nicks family.

CAs are OVERRRRRRRR. Which means that EOY is coming in 7 weeks' time. Time to relax for a while and let our brain cells rest! I don't have much expectations for this CA 'cause it was quite difficult. >.<
After school on the last day of the exams, we finally went out together! We packed our clothes into our bags. (: I really wanted to watch Brave as the trailer looked really nice! So I dragged Audrey, Mabel, Benecia and Ziying with me hehehe. In the end, we still did not follow our original plan. The movie was supposed to be at 2.25pm at Illuma so we took a taxi there. Yes, a taxi. I'm like so fated with taxis. ): Then we realised it was on 3D, so we watched the 5.15pm one instead. 3D movies are not nice! I felt like a badass student. It was a school day and yet we're out in town. :B
Burger King for lunch, then neoprints at Bugis! We took neoprints 2 times as there were 5 of us.

The stuff in Illuma/Bugis Plus is so cool, never been there for so long already. It took us forever to get to the cinemas 'cause we couldn't find it. Then, it's BRAVE time! The movie ticket was $9.50 and there were no discounts for students. OH MY MONEY ): Before that, it showed La Luna (some Dreamworks movie) for 15 min, we almost thought we went into the wrong cinema. O: The story was really funny and touching, a must watch! The 3 little boys were so adorable! ;) I like Merida's red bushy hair. I think we were the most noisy ones in the room. :P Y'know when it's the climax that will make everyone so tensed and nervous (maybe it's just me who feels that way), Ziying was laughing away. -.- I think I get emotional very easily 'cause I teared when the mother almost died.

The movie ended at 7. Though we didn't have time to shop at Bugis Street, we really enjoyed ourselves! It felt as if we weren't schooling. (: AWESOME DAY OUT WITH MY DARLINGS! ♥

/doodled this in class :P

I shall fangirl for a while, don't mind me. :3
Today is Greyson Chance's birthday, he's turning 15! (only one year older than me!) Loved how he writes his songs with so much expression! He's like this little guy winning so many hearts of the Enchancers. I like guys who plays the piano. Greyson does! (: One day, I'm gonna learn how to play all his songs on the piano. Sunshine and City Lights was so awesome, you guys should check it out! I love his songs, love his face, love everything he does. hehehe. #foreveranenchancer

Happy Birthday Greyson! ♥
Continue writing amazing songs and keep on keeping on! Hope you would come to Singapore again. (:

GREETINGS TO ALL OF YOU BROWSING THROUGH MY BLOG! hehehe. I kind of went MIA for exactly 2 weeks because of my exams. Sigh, it's the time of the year again, when I get so stressed up about my studies by just looking at other people tweeting about how they've just finished revising some unknown topic. It's such a competitive world, especially in my school. I really want to get 75% overall! And today, I just screwed up the history paper. I wrote so much for SBQ, just to realise that I did the wrong source when it's almost time. URGHHH, SO WASTED! For math, I rushed through the graph questions. Whatever, I'm so glad to know that everything's gonna be over! :D Exams hasn't actually ended yet, just one more paper to go tomorrow. But it's literature and I've got no idea what to study about. :P

I shall backtrack a little. On 2 August, we celebrated 馒头's birthday! Yes, this was the girl I had cold war with for 3/4 months at the beginning of the year. But now we're super close friends again! Thank you for always being there for me and understanding me. :')

I'm very proud of my cake-decorating skills. ;)

/birthday girl licking the plate.
UNGLAM!

On 7 August, Mabel and I went to Audrey's house after school! That was my first time watching Running Man, and I never knew I would get so addicted to it! :B Not a great time to watch the other episodes though, studying is priority. I was laughing at parts that were not funny. O:

And then it's half-day on 8 August, which means that we only had 2 days of lessons! (: It's National Day Celebrations, where you see everybody in red wherever you go. It blinds people, lol! When I came in to school, See Yeen trolled me by telling me to register with her as an auntie. LOL! The Sec 2s were allocated the most right side of the spectator stand. WHY WHY WHY ): We can't see anything there 'cause the performances were at the center of the track! At least we were smart enough to move to the centre. (: I'll share photos instead of writing about it.

Primary school cheerleading! Adorable! :3

It's the cheerleaders from our side! (:

Racial Harmony dance by the Sec 3s (:

Halfway through the celebration, there was a mass dance. Anyone can just go up and dance to the music being played. It's like, mass clubbing in school?! LOL.

The Charlie Chapman dance by the teachers! (:

Family dance, people!

Red badge dancers (:

2 Charity! Loved their class tee (:

Grey badge dancers! One of my favourite performances (:

Yellow badge dancers! :D

23rd Anniversary Special Service on Saturday;
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CITY HARVEST! (:

I think this is very tumblr-worthy! ;)
Thank you HIA for lending me her high-cut Converse sneakers!
This photo is just too pretty, I'm gonna put it up on my side bar. ♥
